SCAM ALERT!!! How Canaan Trade Option SCAM people.

Canaan Trade Option is a SCAM!!!

Canaan Trade Option, a cryptocurrency investment company/ trading platform with registration number: 13815252 registered by Companies House, Cardiff on 23rd December, 2013 is actively scamming unsuspected investors out of their hard earned money. They achieved this by proposing different crypto currency investment plans on their fake Canaan Trade Option website with different interest rates ranging from 10% to 50% depending on the agreed investment plan. In addition, they promised that the capital and returns of investment can be withdrawn at anytime. However, at the end of the investment, they would seize the initial capital and its returns without authorising payment of funds to the investors. In some cases, they asked the investors to pay a sum of 410 dollars for 'Know Your Customer ', KYC which is a free verification process normally carried out before registering intending investors.

An Ugly Experience with Canaan Trade Option

One of their lady agents named Rathabile Frank (whose picture is shown below) with telephone number: +2347045059832 usually recruit investors for the Canaan Trade Option. The lady first introduced the company to a member of my family whom she pressurised to bring 10 of his friends on board (his story is shared at the end). Consequently, I was also introduced to the company by same Rathabile Frank on 30th June, 2022 with a contract of daily investment and 10% interest rate as they have different investment plans. After having issues with their website for several minutes, I finally opened an online account with her guidance on the company’s website: https://canaantradeoptions.com/

I immediately transferred total of 255 dollar Bitcoins from my Trust wallet to Canaan Trade Option’s wallet as advised by Rathabile Frank through WhatsApp messages, which some are displayed below:

She stated that at the end of my investment, my funds including10% accrued interest will be released to me. However, she defrauded me by sending fake alert through Canaan Trade Option’s email address:  support@canaantradeoptions.com without crediting my Trust wallet.

Overall, I invested 255 dollar Bitcoins on 30th June, 2022 which brought returns of 1621 dollar Bitcoins on 21 July, 2022. Unfortunately, Rathabile Frank and the management of Canaan Trade Option have refused to release my funds on their online platform to my Trust wallet address.

On requesting for my investment and its returns withdrawal, they ended up sending fake withdrawal email message to me without crediting my Trust wallet as shown as follows:

Other investors' experiences can be found below:
The member of my family that Rathabile Frank introduced to Canaan Trade Option invested 142 dollar Bitcoins which yielded 1,399 dollar Bitcoins. When he wanted to withdraw his funds, he also got a fake email message from Canaan Trade Option as shown below. He initially sent funds' withdrawal request, after several hours he received an email message confirming authorisation of funds withdrawal without sending any Bitcoin to his Trust wallet. Rather one Mr. Melokuhie who introduced himself as Rathabile's husband asked him to pay a sum of 410 dollars for 'Know Your Customer ', KYC verification before the payment would be authorised.

Another lady also shared how Canaan Trade Option allegedly scammed her and her friends whom she introduced to the company.

This write-up is to ALERT the general public of their corporate FRAUD and unscrupulous activities being carried out to defraud intending unsuspected investors with their fake interest rates and bogus promises.
