Nollywood actress Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha fondly known as Rita Dominic got married to her prince charming, Fidelis Anosike on April 19th, 2022 in Imo State. They made their relationship public when Rita showed off a lovely photo of them in a lovey-dovey position through her Instagram handle to her fans and followers on the 26th December, 2020. Since then, Fidelis became a household name.

Rita is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State and she is the youngest of 4 children. Her parents were health care professionals, her father was a doctor while her mother was a nursing officer. She attended Federal Government College, Ikot-Ekpene in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria before heading to the University of Port-Harcourt where she graduated with Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.  She began acting as a child appearing in many school plays and children's television shows in Imo State. Rita came to limelight with her first movie 'A time to kill' in 1998 and won City People Award in 2004 as the most outstanding actress. She has won several awards making her a multiple award-winning actress. 

What to know about Fidelis Anosike

Fidelis is a 56-year old son of a police officer who hails from Umueri in Anambra State, Nigeria. His father passed on at age 52 while his mother lately passed on in 2021. Fidelis Anosike is a graduate of Creative and Applied Arts from University of Benin bagging Bachelor of Arts degree. He is the founder of Folio Group which is a multimedia company that that organises events such as The Miss Nigeria pageant, The times Heros Award and Nigeria Our heritage Grand book. He is the publisher of Daily Times, the oldest Nigerian newspaper founded in 1926. However, in 2018, Fidelis and his brother, Noel Anosike were charged to court by Federal Government of Nigeria on the allegations that they did not follow legal process when buying the local newspaper. As an entrepreneur, he has built quite some wealth for himself, however he is quite down to earth and does not like to show off his possessions.

His Ex-Wives

Fidelis was married twice to 2 different women years ago. He first got married to Chioma who is from Orlu town in Imo State and due to some critical issues, they divorced and went their separate ways. The second wife was known as Sidi from Bida in Niger State who unconfirmed sources reported that she had children with Fidelis but there is no public record available on his children.

A great number of Nollywood actors and actresses were present at their traditional wedding while there are others who were unavoidably absent including Genevieve Nnaji, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Mercy Johnson, Stephanie Okereke and Omotola Jalade. However, they have shared their congratulatory message to the newly wed through their Instagram handle.
