Igbos were among the Africans transported to the Americans and Europe during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and Liverpool was very much involved in slavery. The cultures of Igbo people, a tribe in South Eastern Nigeria is exhibited in International Slavery Museum, Liverpool. However, some of those items on display are obsolete now in certain parts of Igboland.
